lyrics
Gods cast down thy might of sharur
Enchant thy land with thunders in hand
Ninurta wields the flames of the serpent's force
Control in hand of the beast of the north
Call upon thy name, Ninurta the beast must be slain
Flames over the mountains. Kings of the stars fulfill thy dominion’s reign
The storm of sands brought forth from the beast
Anzu empowered within the tablets of kings
Seven of battle, seven evil winds who dance in dust from tablets within
Bring forth the feathers of the beast, raise thy bow
Conquer the wings of the Anzu
Lugal-E carry the flames of Enki, The destiny of humanity is in your hands
Mighty Ninurta, tablets of destinies
Crush thy bones under the magic of gods
Yield by order of Anunnaki
Call upon thy name
The death of the Anzu, the wings have fallen, Ninurta has slain
The stars shall rule the lands. Temples erected from the sands
Flames over the mountains, Kings of the stars
Fulfill thy dominion’s reign
The storm of the sands brought forth from the beast
Anzu empowered within the tablets of kings
Seven of battle, seven evil winds who dance in dust from the tablets within

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
